Other Guestbook Does anyone know where Ed "Fast Eddie" White and "Sid the Kid" (wife) are located? Flew back in 1960's 70's 80's out of MKC, MCI, JFK and STL. From Bryan Taylor[Email] [Homepage] 8:18 pm - Thursday,October 30, 2008 I worked at newark in the 60s as Ramp service. From Bob Levereth[Email] [Homepage] 1:23 pm - Thursday,January 31, 2008 Having recently retired from 45 years in the travel industry, starting as a travel agent, then with Robert Six's Continental, then back to travel agent, I made many TWA friends. My first commercial flight was aboard a TWA Connie; first jet flight in May 1959 aboard a TWA 707. From that time on, TWA was "my airline". I and the world sorely miss this icon of aviation. Air travel is not and will never be the same. And, Kaycee Hooper, long-time TWA Ambassador Desk (LA) and in-flight service director, would love to say hello if you read this message. Peace to all. The memories will always be in heart and I worked with the best men and women in this industry. Thank you again TWA you are gone but not forgotten. Rapheal STL/JFK flight attendant. From Rapheal Lennard[Email] [Homepage] 7:24 am - Friday,July 7, 2006 Does anyone remember a flight attendant named Mary Quinn, who was Los Angeles based in the early 1960s? She was from Massachusetts, I believe. A petite green-eyed brunette, who happened to live in the same apartment complex I did. Her roommate was a "Kathy," also very nice. Thanks for any help. Sigi from Honolulu From sigi chang[Email] [Homepage] 8:19 am - Monday,July 3, 2006 i will ask again, does anyone remember sue graves a flight att during 1960 out of chicago flying on connies? thanks. From don wald[Email] [Homepage] 6:06 pm - Wednesday,June 21, 2006 I'm working for my third airline now <AA> but I worked for TWA the longest and we all miss TWA for all the hard work we put in trying to keep it alive. This website is a great idea in preserving at least the memories! Please visit my webpages too: http://strodi.tripod.com. From S. R. DIXON[Email] [Homepage] 3:23 am - Sunday,May 7, 2006 My father was Captain for TWA for 36+ years based at JFK on 707...his initials ironically were TWA..First Class Airline...Those were the days!! From Lisa Nettnay[Email] [Homepage] 9:07 pm - Thursday,April 20, 2006 This morning I typed in my late Grandfather's name, "Ralph Ellinger", who passed away in 1960 I believe. Sure enough, there were two articals about he, Frye, Howard Hughs, and the Constallation. Although I was born 6 years after his death, I am curious if anyone knew him or has any comments about him. His five sons Pat, Tom, John (my father), Ray and James are still alive. Uncle Jim still resides in Ralph Ellinger's residence in Santa Monica that was purchased in the 30's. If you have anything to share please do. I was told he as a Vice President from the 30's to the late 50's. Thanks You...
